The Honeywell 5192 Series low profile, addressable V-Plex smoke detectors deliver state-of-the-art features and benefits in a cost-effective package. These detectors are designed to provide open area coverage and are compatible with Honeywell’s VISTA controls supporting V-Plex technology. An LED on the detector will blink periodically during normal conditions, remain on steady during alarm and cease to pulse if the chamber is out of acceptable sensitivity range.

The 5809 combines both rate-of-rise and fixed temperature sensors. Fires typically cause a rapid rise in temperature in the surrounding area. The 5809’s rate-of-rise thermostat senses the rise in temperature and signals an alarm if the increase is 15° or more per minute. A built-in fixed temperature sensor will also signal an alarm if the environmental temperature rises above 135°F.

The detectors measure CO levels over time and are designed to sound a warning alarm well before the carbon monoxide reaches a fatal level—giving you and your family time to safely evacuate your home.
Should concentrations hit dangerous levels, you will be notified by the detector, control panel and monitoring station. Should a problem arise with your detector, the monitoring station will be alerted and quickly notify you.
